Trial Ready

We Push For Fair Early Resolution, But Are Prepared For Trial.

In 2025, ShortLegal obtained a trial judgment against a local employer who refused to accept the reasonable settlement demands made at the outset of the case and prior to trial. ShortLegal took the employer to trial and obtained a judgment for the full amount of the client’s damages sought as well as attorney’s fees and costs which were 6 times the client’s damages due to protracted litigation by the employer. A reminder of how California treats employers who force employees to fight for what they are owed.

Wage-and-Hour, Class Action, and PAGA Experience

ShortLegal’s representative results reflect substantial experience in employment cases involving wage-and-hour, class action, and PAGA claims, including unpaid wages, overtime, meal and rest breaks, wage statements, waiting time penalties, reimbursement, payroll practices, timekeeping practices, and workplace policies affecting groups of employees.
